eRez licence types

License limitations

eRez licenses are limited for a total number of CPUs on the machine, number images and for ASP versions, to service a mulitple number of customers/organisations.

Host name and host IP limitation

An eRez imaging server is licensed for one specific host name and/or host IP. You use this host name or host IP to access eRez. If you try to call eRez through a URL for which it is not licensed, eRez will run in demo mode and display watermarks in your images.

CPU limitation

“Total number of CPUs on the Computer” means the number of CPUs as reported by the operating system on the computer including additional CPUs enabled by means of Hyper-Threading, Multi-Core or similar techniques. Examples:

• A dual-core machine will report 2 CPUs.
  
• A quad-core machine will report 4 CPUs.

If you have an eRez 4 license, and install eRez on a machine which reports more CPUs than the license permits, eRez will run in demo mode and display watermarks in your images.

If you have an eRez 5 license, eRez will only use the number of CPUs permitted by your license, even if you install it on a machine with more CPUs than the license permits.

Image limitation

If you have an eRez license (Basic, Standard or ASP-50) and exceed the number of images, eRez will run in demo mode and display watermarks in your images.

SOAP license

If you have an eRez SOAP license you will be able to access your eRez using a SOAP interface.

CAD-View license

If you have a CAD-View license you will be able to upload and zoom into AutoCAD® files on your eRez server.

Single server licenses

Single Server licenses allows you to use eRez imaging server for your own organisation or max 1 customer. You can only publish images to web sites owned by you. You can not rent or sublicense the use of the software to third parties.

ASP licenses

ASP licenses allows you to run eRez for a specific maximum number of customers. This means that you use eRez as a hosting platform for your customers, and you can rent or sublicense the use of the software to the number of customers as specified by your ASP license type.
